Bethel UMC: Organization

Bethel uses the Church Council form of organization, employing the One Board Leadership Structure as described in the 2026 United Methodist Church Book of Discipline. This Church Council fulfills the disciplinary functions of Council, Trustees, Finance, and Staff-Parish Relations Committee. The Church Council meetings are held on the third Sunday of each month, following the worship service. Although church officers are approved in a "charge conference" in the fall for calendar year appointments, all members of the church are invited to attend the Council meetings.
