First Sunday After Pentecost
Trinity Sunday
Father's Day
June 15, 2025
Pastor: Ralph Wrightstone Bulletin Insert Photos
Music Director: Travis Oaks
This First Sunday After Pentecost is a special day on the Calendar, called Father's Day. You may be able to enter a lively conversation with others about whether it should be: Father's Day, Fathers' Day or Fathers Day...and why or why not...perhaps outside the church walls. Tapping on one of the graphic images at the top of this page will reveal some items that may help inform your own thoughts about the special relationship between father and child...be sure to listen to The Father's Day Song. On the church calendar, this is also Trinity Sunday, celebrating the unity of God as Father, Son and Holy Spirit...and Friday is the Summer Solstice and the First Day of Summer on the calendar. The Resource Page has more about each of these, what they mean and how they are celebrated.
Click on the "Bethel United Methodist Church" script above
for links to some Resource materials for today's service.
NOTE: Each part of this online service consists of an audio file and, for most, a Link to a pdf file of "projection slides". Click on thesymbol to play the audio file under a separate browser tab or in a new window. Then select the "Bethel 06/08/25 Service" browser tab or return to this window to open the Link to the "slides". It is best to stop the playing of one Audio segment and close its tab or window before starting another. We hope that you will fully participate in the service provided here, taking the time to raise your voice or read along with the hymns and responses, and listening to the recorded messages and songs that have been prepared for you. Realize that, though not meeting face-to-face, you are virtually gathering with many others for this time of worship, celebration and spiritual refreshment.
